Savage Cabbage Bash

Savage Cabbage Bash is in it’s 3rd year. We’ll be pulling the non-native, invasive bastard cabbage (Rapistrum rugosum) from the banks of the Trinity River behind the HG Supply & Apple store on University Drive. This invasive plant outcompetes our native wildflowers by blocking sun with its broad leaves, leaving some fields a complete monoculture. This project begun a few years ago & we’re making progress as the numbers are diminishing. For questions, directions & to RSVP, contact Jo Ann at joacollins@gmail.com
